MTCC returned to race at Mount Foxzie Speedway after 2 weeks of break.
The final 3 tracks were replaced to make the grid more balanced and to make race more interesting with closer competition. Did it work out? Read on to find out!
Quali
This was supposed to be MTCC's first 3 driver qualifying session, 2 teams were allowed to enter 3 drivers during this race however both teams who were allowed to failed to do so. However it didn't go to waste as Alpine decided to take the opportunity and enter 3 drivers, Avith, Syrz and Lexi.
When it was lights out, nothing new happened. The Lotuses got away well, followed by Blaze. Going into the straights, they managed to position themselves ahead enough but once they reached the middle sector, thanks to the mustang's handling Blaze managed to pass both of the Lotuses who managed to hang on close behind. Sot retook the lead at the final corner of lap1, Agg was still battling Blaze for P2. They were both pushing their cars to the limit, Blaze managed to pass Agg again in the middle sector and going into the street race straights, they were wheel to wheel and in the process of pushing, Agg got carried away.. he crashed into a container around the apex of the final corner. This gifted Blaze P2 and Syrz was quick to take P3. Agg came finished in P4 followed by Lio and Avith. Lexi came last which meant Syrz's and Avith's qualifying positions would be used for the race.
Sprint
Lio started on pole (thanks to the reversed top 5 grid), a poor start meant he dropped a few places right at the start. Blaze instantly took the lead followed by Agg, Sot and Avith. Lio was battling for P5 with Syrz By lap 2, we had the same top 3 as we did during most of the quali.

It was a game of cat and mouse between the Lotuses and Blaze, they went on and on for a few laps with Blaze being in P2 for most of the time, until.... no it wasn't pit stops, until on lap 13 when Blaze crashed. This gave Agg P2, fortunately for Blaze P4 was not too close so he was able to keep his position and come home in an impressive 3rd after such an intense battle.
Unfortunately, the man who started on pole disconnected and so did dino in the other BMW.
Race
Race went on in a similar way to sprint, with Sot leading from Agg and Blaze who were battling for P2. You would've expected for the battle to have lasted for longer but unfortunately, it ended on lap 5 when Blaze decided to take his Ford on a parkour session over the infamous rock.

A series of mistakes then put Blaze all the way at the back of the grid, ahead of no one except for Dino. Lio was now running in P3 defending against Syrz, sadly, he couldn't hang on to the position for long as Syrz passed him. At around lap 15 Dino was lapped, he was the first person to pit. Meanwhile, Avith was also having a bad race now side by side with Blaze. He somehow managed to match Blaze's pace and they both made their way up the grid as the race progressed. As this went on Sot proceeded to create a gap from Agg who in turn was gapping Syrz in P3. Syrz didn't stay on P3 for long as Blaze soon passed him, Sadly Avith made some errors again and decided to call it a day. Syrz running in P4 was now keeping ahead of Lio. Nothing interesting happened until pit stops. Dino who was lapped by Sot halfway through the race had somehow managed to stay right behind Sot and ahead of Agg. A lap after Sot pit, Dino rocketed past Sot effectively unlapping himself. By this time Sot had lapped everyone up till Syrz who was running in P4 which meant Dino was now in P4. A lap later the race ended with Sot winning with a grandslam once again, followed by Agg in P2 and Blaze in P3 who made a comeback all the way from the back of the grid. Impressive job by the Ford driver after a poor race 4. Dino finished in P4 followed by Syrz and Lio. Sot, Agg and Blaze had all amassed 3 podiums over a single weekend. With Sot taking 2 poles and 3 wins. A lovely weekend for the trio.

Post Race
It was later figured that Dino was using upgrades to keep up with the Lotuses, unfortunately, unlike Obli Dino didn't have a clean record and therefore was given a 30s time penalty dropping him to the bottom.
