After the first round on The Ring, the Hypercar series continued on MrMouse's track, Twisty Towers. As usual, there were some complaints about the track before the race - mostly because of one of the corners which made cars "jump" a bit (aka the building enterance near the ferris wheel). Many wanted to remove it, but in the end we've decided to keep the corner.
This race would be also the first race since John's retirement as he has signed a one-race deal with GMA.
Quali
To nobody's suprise, the Pagani went off quickly and created a gap, with Valkyrie and GMA coming behind, however it has accumulated a bit of corner cuts, most of them done near the highway enterence corner aka the "chicane". GMA did well during the first lap, however somewhere during the 2nd lap the driver of the car, who was possibly Syrz disconnected and did not finish the quali, allowing the AMR team to finish 2nd. DeTomaso finished behind 3rd and then Mazda 4th. GMA thanks to the DNF had to start last.

Race
Just like in quali, Pagani took off quickly and started building a gap, however (according to the spectators) started cutting a lot in the chicane section. Some of these cuts shouldn't have been counted as the car at most had 2 wheels on track, but they sometimes have gone a bit too deep.
6 mins in, and the GMA started catching up to the Valkyrie, eventually taking P2 from them. Meanwhile, the Furai started dropping in pace and eventually got overtaken by the DeTomaso, however it didn't give up - they've started a battle for P4 with Mazda taking the position, but not for long.
26 minutes in, and not much has happened apart from Mazda catching up and sitting on DeTomaso's back for a bit. Also, the GMA has been passed by Valkyrie with Avith thinking that it was being lapped, altrough it probably wasn't.

39 minutes in, and Avith is starting his stint in the Aston... except he disconnected right when he was about to do it. Unfortunate for him and for the team, as they lost some valuable time. Some time later, Pagani have also switched drivers, but unlike Aston there was no chaos.
49 minutes in, the DeTomaso of Michal stopped (due to him AFK'ing for a minute) and GMA has switched drivers (John -> Syrz). Apart from that we also saw some people oversteer into kerbs, and the GMA was now 2nd. Meanwhile, many people wanted a penalty for Pagani as they have cutted a lot (according to spectators). Some cuts were in my opinion called even when there wasn't a cut, so I only gave Pagani a verbal warning and not a penalty, which made people slightly mad. We also saw an epic flip from the GMA 55 minutes in

And later, we didn't really saw anything special, apart maybe from Mazda possibly lapping the DeTomaso. Pagani eventually drove to victory, leading every lap from start to finish with GMA coming in 2nd and Aston coming in 3rd, both lapped. Mazda finished 4th with some help from Lio and DeTomaso managed to finish dead last. However, the entire race distance was done by Michal from start to finish, only doing mandatory pit stops twice. He didn't win the race, but he had managed to get an unofficial DOTD (Driver Of The Day) award.

The race wasn't the most interesting one, but it had some good moments. We hope we'll get a banger race in 2 weeks. Maybe the shootout quali will help in making the race more interesting?
