Last round in Road Fox-tlanta saw Sot absolutely dominate the race, lapping every single car. Many wanted a somewhat competitive race again, since the McLaren just seemed really fast. But on this track, the Merc would seem the fastest, however some people claimed that the McLaren was actually the fastest car on the Police Race track by a big margin. Also, since the BMW was so slow even with the turbo upgrade it got a supercharger, which was (according to testing) keeping up with other cars. What would be the reality though?
Quali
The 1 lap quali saw all 3 McLaren cars get away from everyone really quickly, claiming all top 3 spots. The battle for the lead was now between Sot, Agg and Obli, with Sot leading at most times. Eventually he got pole, with Agg coming close in 2nd and Obli in 3rd. The highest result taken by a non-McLaren driver was Avith in P4, in the Merc. Lio got P5, Lexi somehow got P6, showing that the upgrades could help BMW a bit. Syrz qualified right behind Lexi and Dhen was behind him. Dino would qualify dead last.

Race
Just like quali, the race started very well for all McLaren drivers, getting away fast from everybody else. Sot in just 1 lap managed to create a big gap between P2 of Sot. The biggest suprise was Lexi in P4, in the worst car in the class. She was being chased by Merc GT drivers, Avith and Syrz, but for some times was keeping them behind. But all things come to an end - Lexi flipped on the last corner of lap 4 and both Avith and Syrz passed her.

Meanwhile, Agg was racing Obli for P2, which was probably the most interesting thing in this race, as Sot was around 5 seconds ahead of them on lap 6. There was also a fight for P4 between Avith and Syrz. Funnily enough, both drivers who were fighting for the lead in the first round are now fighting for P4. But unlike R1, Avith was actually ahead of Syrz this time around.

Lap 12 and Lexi, who was ahead of both Mercs was now fighting with Dhen for P7 and was about to be lapped by Sot soon. Meanwhile, Lio had caught up after his crash on lap 1 and was now close to Syrz, but also about to get lapped by Sot. Syrz seemed to have better pace though and was ahead at most times.
However Lio eventually overtook Syrz and was now coming to Avith. And then, on lap 27, Sot disconnected. He was really close to lapping everyone again, but now left the lead to Obli. He rejoined on lap 30, but was 3 laps down. It was now Obli vs Agg for the lead.
Sot started making some good progress, overtaking Lexi and Dhen for P7 and Obli was gapping Agg. On lap 38, Sot was already on the same lap as the Mercs.

Back to Obli, he was still leading and he hasn't done any bigger mistakes. Agg struggled to keep up with him and Sot was at least a lap behind. The leader kept the pace till the very end and eventually won his 2nd race - and his first ever GT race. Really big day for him. Agg finished 2nd, and after all the struggles, Avith finished P3, around a lap behind the top 2. First non-Hypercar podium since S3. Lio finished P4 ahead of Syrz in P5. Sot finished P6, somehow, despite starting 3 laps behind on lap 30 and Dhen managed to get P7 from Lexi. Dino finished P8, dead last, but he has finished. There were also no DNFs in this race.

And with that race done, Agg was now leading the championship with 36 points, 3 points ahead of 2nd place, with Sot having 33 points and Obli having 31 points. And then Syrz had 25 points. Possibly thanks to Sot's disconnection, the championship seems close as top 4 is serperated by just 11 points, after 3 races. Not saying that we might see S1 GT situation again, but who knows?
Constructor's Championship: McLaren was leading with 69 points (nice), 24 points ahead of Mercedes-AMG GT (45 pts), which was 9 points ahead of McLaren Autobacs (36 pts). If the team's second driver had raced, they would've possibly caught up to 2nd place. Both BMW teams still haven't managed to get out of their deep hole, with BWT sitting in P6 with 1 point and BMW GT sitting ahead with 4 points.
Is Sot able to get the championship lead back? Probably, but nothing is sure (especially if he qualifies on pole which is apparently unlucky for him)
