MCRO F1 returns to iliart's new track, The Foxcity GP Circuit. With Syrz only needing to finish 2nd or higher to win the championship, this race had a possibility of being a championship decider.
Sprint Quali
Unfortunately, I don't have any footage from the quali, so I won't describe it deeply - but I can do a quick summary of it.
Sot took the pole position with ease and we saw a battle between Syrz and Bugqtt1, with Syrz coming ahead of him in 2nd place (Bugqtt1 was 3rd). AGGELOS_8 had some luck that day, as he came 4th in the quali, with LR_Lexi coming behind. Obli came only 6th, Streetkh came 7th after a huge cut on Turn 4 (he slowed down, though), Alex, who did the quali for Lio came 8th, ahead of Vark, Quack (who did his first MCRO F1 race) and Cloud.

Race
The race started well for Bugqtt1, who took the lead, but was being chased by Sot. Eventually the pole sitter got the lead at the end of lap 1. Then, they started a small battle which lasted about 2 laps, as Sot started building a gap. Syrz was 3rd on Lap 4 and was starting to slowly fall behind his teammate. On the same lap we saw Cloudsightst, the Neptune Motorsport F1 owner quit the race, possibly due to frustration, altrough he warned us before race that he might quit mid-race.

Lap 7 - Obli retires from the race possibly due to diarrhea. Unfortunate, as the race didn't go well that day. Meanwhile his teammate Vark was sitting outside of points, battling with both Squadra-Porsches of Lio and Quack. Syrz also started getting close to his teammate, which he needed to overtake to get the championship.

After the pit window opened on lap 12, Sot has built a decent gap between him and P2, with Syrz overtaking Bugqtt1 a few laps later. Now he needed to keep the position to win the championship.
Apart from a small battle between Vark and Squadra-Porsches, nothing interesting happened until lap 24, when Syrz started to come close to Sot. On lap 26 he was close enough to overtake him for the lead. They have produced a small duel, however Syrz crashed on the highway enterance which caused Sot to produce a gap. Meanwhile, Vark did a series of mistakes which dropped him from points positions to P8.

And Sot has crossed the line first, marking his 2nd win in MCRO F1. Syrz came 2nd which was enough to win him the MCRO F1 S1 Driver's Championship, as he was now leading by 16 points (that's 1 point above the 15 points available for Round 7). AGGELOS after a streak of bad/mediocre races finally managed to get his 2nd podium this season - mostly thanks to people crashing. Streekh came 4th, Bugqtt1 came behind 5th and Lexi came 6th for the 2nd time in a row.

As usual, the race didn't lack controversies - this time it was Bugqtt1 who complained about Streekh who was apparently corner cutting and wanted him disqualified from the race (you can see him asking for that in the picture above). He then continued the agruement in the MCRO general chat and was requesting a disqualification - after a few hours of investigation it was decided that Streekh will keep his position, which made Bugqtt1 quite upset.
Summary - the race was mostly dominated by Sot, however if not for the mess-up from Syrz that race would've had a different winner. With him already winning the championship, the season finale wouldn't be that important for the driver's championship, but the constructor's championship is still up for grabs for GR-Toyota and Dark Horse, so the race might actually be interesting. Who will win the Constructor's Championship? We'll find out tomorrow (as of the time when this article released).
If no one had messed up in any of the races so far this season, we probably would've had a different winner every race :aintnowayyy:
